Faculty Development

McMaster, Mohawk, Conestoga Undergraduate Nursing Faculty Development (UNFD) supports the BScN Program through attention to competencies needed by individual faculty and to the institutional polices required to advance academic growth and excellence.

The UNFD plans, conducts, and coordinates a broad range of activities that assist faculty in preparing and/or revitalizing themselves for their various roles in the Bachelor of Nursing program.

The UNFD ensures that the educational opportunities provided enable faculty members to improve their knowledge and skills and become more competent in the teaching and learning process, scholarship in education, and leadership in education. 

The UNFD is composed of experienced faculty representatives from the three sites who support the role of UNFD to promote academic vitality through academic growth and excellence.
